FAQ's

How/when should i take it ? + -

Take 1 l theanine capsule with a glass of water. Max 2 per day. Theanine aids relaxation without sedation and can be taken any time of the day.

Take 1 5HTP tablet with a meal. Max 2 per day. Serotonin plays an important role in regulating mood and sleep. It's recommended you take 5-htp as/when you have an emotional need for the product.

Is it safe to take 5HTP and theanine together ? + -

You can use 5HTP and theanine together. They work on different chemical pathways and they do not contraindicate. There may be a synergistic benefit of taking them in combination however, the synergistic benefit at these specific mg dosages hasn't been studied in clinical trials.

Are there any side effects or contraindications? + -

5-htp should not be taken with any anti-depressant medication. Anybody taking medication for high blood pressure should consult their GP. If you have low blood pressure, discuss theanine with your healthcare provider before starting it.
